Public vs Private & Scheduling Announce Time

Public: If a performance is listed as Public, it will be visible on etix.com and on the Venue and Organization links.

Private: If a performance is listed as Private, it is not visible on etix.com or on the Venue and Organizational links. However, customers with a Base Performance Sales Link for a Private Performance can still purchase tickets if the performances has an active sales schedule.

Custom Date Display: Venues can mark the performance as Public, but use the scheduling tool to make the performance visible only at a specific time.  You can either do it during the creation process or through Manage Performance.

The example below illustrates how to access this feature when creating a new performance. 

In the Venue Dashboard click on Performances.

Click Create Performance

As you start to fill in your performance information, you will see the options to make Public or Private.

A. This is where you will choose between Public or Private.
B. If you choose Public, it will default to Immediately. This means your performance will automatically appear once you are done with your build.
C. If you choose Custom Date, the Custom Date/Time box will appear. You will then choose the appropriate date and time you would like for the performance to become Public. You can click on the Calendar icon for to choose the date/time.

Once your event is built, you can always change these settings by:

- Clicking on the Performance
- Choosing Manage
- Choosing Edit Performance
