Imagine an event when the Will Call line is short or your daily mailings are limited. Well, keep reading and email the customer their tickets during the transaction. This can be done with paid or comp tickets.
How to Email Tickets sold via "Venue POS".
Select the Performance.
Click on Sell Tickets.
Choose Venue POS.
The below example will be using Venue POS:
A. Select the Performance to sell from (for this example, we used Best Available).
B. Select the amount of seats needed.
C. Change the Delivery Method to Print At Home.
D. Add Seats to your cart.
E. Select your Method of Payment.
F. Enter the buyer's Email Address.
G. The "Send Confirmation Email" is automatically defaulted to be checked. If it isn't selected, make sure to check the box.
H. Click Purchase.
How to Email Tickets sold via "Sell By Map".
Select the performance
Click Sell Tickets
Select Sell by Map (Sell by Map will be used for this example, but all Sales Applets will have this option except Quick Sale).
Note: These selling methods require the use of Internet Explorer browser
The below example will be using Sell by Map
A. Select the section
B. Select the seats
C. Click Add Seats
D. Make the Delivery Method Print At Home
E. Select the Method of Payment
F. Enter patron data including email address
G. Select Send Confirmation Email
H. Click Purchase/Print Later
Notes: This function can be used with any Delivery Method. If a Delivery Method other than Print at Home is used the customer will receive the normal Confirmation Email. However, when Print at Home is used the Customer will have a link to print their tickets.
