Create a Flex with Groups Package

Flex with Groups Package allows customers to purchase specific seats to a certain number of performances within a group.  You will be able to input a minimum and maximum number of performance groups a customer can purchase as well as a minimum and maximum number of performances within a group a customer can purchase.

*Note, if you want to be able to sell your Flex with Groups package through the box office sales channel using the sales method Sell By Map, Sell By Section, or Venue POS Quick Sale, you will need to make sure that each individual performance has an active box office sales schedule.

From the Venue Dashboard

Select the Create Button and select Create Package

The Package Create Page will display
Select Flex With Groups

A. Enter Groups Per Package Minimum
B. Enter Groups Per Package Maximum
C. Select Performance Groups to Include
Note: Click here to create a new Performance Group
D. Select display order
E. Select the minimum Performances required
F. Select the maximum Performances required
G. Enter the Min Tickets for each performance within in each group
H. Enter the Max
 Tickets for each performance within in each group
I. Select Next Step: Package Details

The Performances included in this Package will display at the top

A. Enter Package Name (how the user and online patrons will view it).
B. Select Package Start Time.  Will auto-populate
 to the first performance within the package.
C. Select Package End Time.  Will auto-populate to the last performance within the package.
D. Check to Display Doors Open Time.  If applicable select the hours and minutes doors open before show time.
Package Image:  Drag or Select an Image that is 400x400 or larger. Then create a focal point by moving the cross hairs. The system will then create a thumbnail.
F. Enter Package Description.  This will appear throughout the purchase process, similar to a performance description and will accept html.
G. Check and enter in New Package Series Name.  Package Series Name is used for package renewals and should not have any date, ie Full Season or Friday Subscription
H. Select if the Package is Public or Private.  Choose public if you want your package to show up on etix.com.  Note:  Privacy settings will apply to the Account Manager module if in use.
I. Check to Require Password.  
If applicable, add the password.
J. Condensed Package Confirmation Message
Check to remove performance details from the package confirmation message.
Note: The default package confirmation email lists every performance included in the package.


K. Accessible Seating: Select to display the ADA form on page one of the online sales process.
L. Set Max Tickets per Order (note: this is not a per package limit)
*If you have implemented a per customer ticket limit at the performance level, it will be honored at the package level. Therefore, once you reach the per customer ticket limit for any performance within the package, you will not be able to complete your transaction.
M. Enter a Confirmation Message
N. Ignore Package Headers 1-7. The headers from the individual performances will be printed on the tickets.
O. Select the sections where the package can be sold.  Sections can not be added or removed after the package has been created.
P. Click Next Step: Price Codes

Choose the desired Price Codes from the list of Available Price Codes.  Click Move Selected Item to Assigned or double click on a price code to move it over to the assigned column.  The Price Codes will populate to the right and you can select:
A. Display Order
B. Private or Public
C. Min and Max Tickets
D. Remove if needed
E. Select Next Step: Sales Schedules

The Schedule Price Code Screen appears.
To schedule a price code the user needs to think of what price codes need to be available, during what time frames, and through which sales channel.  
A. Select the Sales Schedule Type, either Presale or Public Onsale
B. If Presale is selected as the schedule type, enter the Presale Name.  This does not accept HTML and has a 64 character maximum.
C. Enter the sales start and end date and start and end time for the desired price code.
D. Place a check mark next to the price code name you want to schedule.  Make sure to select all applicable sales channels by placing a check mark in these columns.
E. Select if you to schedule the announcement to display immediately or select a custom date and time.
F. Click Add Schedule

The page will refresh and display the price code schedules.
Repeat the above steps to add additional schedules.  
Note: You can create multiple sales schedules and remove schedules if necessary.

Click Save and Exit once you have added all necessary price code schedules or click Next Step: Pricing if needed.

Enter the Package Prices, Fees and Face Value
Note: The Package Price must be a total of all the performances within a Flexible Package. Example: this package has three performances to choose from. Each performance is $25 so the Base Package Price needs to be $75.
Click Next to finish the package

The Review Package page will display. Click on Review & Approve to view the package details before approving the package for onsale.

The Package Details page will display. After confirming everything is correct, click Submit Package and Approve for Onsale. The package has been approved and is now available to purchase.
