Note: If the COMP Price Code has not yet been added to the Performance, please follow this article to add it.
COMP Tickets can be processed through all Selling Methods, the below example used is Venue POS.
Processing Comps with Sell by Map
A. Select to process comps in a performance or package.
B. Select the performance from which you'd like to process comps. This defaults to the performance you are in, but allows the seller to move quickly between performances and packages on the sales page. You can also switch venues from the venue dropdown in the top right corner.
C. Best Available/Sell by Map Tabs: These tabs allow the seller to toggle between processing comps by best available or specific sections on the map.
D. Select a Section. Available seats will display (shown below).
E. You can choose a specific section from the venue map by clicking on a section on the map. Available seats will display (shown below).
Note: Users can select multiple sections to display.
After selecting a section, the following page will display,
A. Use the section dropdown to switch quickly between sections from this page.
B. Click View All Sections to return to the map.
C. Click to select seats. A blue checkmark will appear to indicate that the seat has been selected.
D. A key will display indicating selected, open, held and sold seats.
E. Displays the number of seats that have been selected.
F. Select the Comp price code.
G. Select the preferred delivery method from the dropdown.
H. The total order fee will display in this box after you select Add Seats
I. Click Add Seats
J. Tickets will display in the shopping cart. Clear the whole shopping cart by clicking the blue Clear Shopping Cart button. You can also remove individual tickets by clicking the red remove button under the Remove heading.
After adding seats, the tickets will populate below the gray line. Before moving on to check out, review the order.
A. Performance Name, Date and Time
B. Section, Row and Seat
C. Displays the seat status the ticket was sold from
D. Seat Notes will appear here
E. Price Code: To update the price code in your shopping cart, click the dropdown and select the new price code.
F. Ticket Price
G. Ticket Fees
H. Total Price
I. You can remove an individual ticket from the order by clicking the symbol in this column.
J. A summary of the order will display along the bottom. This area shows quantity, total order delivery fee, total order fee and order total.
K. Click Clear Shopping Cart to remove all selected seats from the order.
Select the Cash Method of Payment and process as Cash for $0. Collect customer data as applicable.
Select either Purchase or Purchase and Print and the Order ID will populate.
Note: If you click purchase/print it will print the tickets immediately regardless of the delivery method. Purchase/Validate will process and validate the ticket.
