To better service our clients, we are enhancing our Convenience Fee component.
Over the next few days, the Convenience Fee component will be renamed to Etix Fee (these components are located under Edit Price within a performance).
Additional Fee Category for Fee Sharing Clients
In addition to the Etix Fee, fee sharing clients will have a separate fee component, called the Client Fee. This will allow Fee Sharing Clients to quickly distinguish their portion of the ticket fees.
How does this benefit you?
These enhancements will both simplify the settlement process and provide additional clarity when identifying your portion of the fees (and taxes) in your settlement reports.
Will this affect your customers?
No. Your customers will continue to see the Ticket Fee in one simple location and categorized as it was previously.
Do I need to make any changes to previously built events?
No. We will continue to take care of any event or performance built prior to the change. For existing performances, do not worry that some of your fee is under Etix Fee as we will settle the current way.
For the next performance you build, please utilize these new components to make sure your additional fee is placed in the Client Fee Component.
