Venue POS

Venue POS is a new selling method that will offer an alternative to the Java applet selling screens, and make the selling process more efficient and user-friendly. As a bonus product update, Venue POS also includes the capability to purchase and validate tickets all at once! After a very successful 6 month beta testing period, this feature will be rolled out to all Etix clients in 2017.
From the Venue Dashboard, select the performance.
Click the green Sell Tickets button in the top right corner of the performance dashboard.




Select Venue POS from the dropdown menu.




Selling Best Available
A. Select to sell a performance or package.
B. Select the
performance or package to sell.  This defaults to the performance you are in, but allows the seller to move quickly between performances and packages on the sales page. You can also switch venues from the venue dropdown in the top right corner.
C. Best Available/Sell by Map Tabs: These tabs allow the seller to toggle between selling tickets by best available or specific sections on the map.

D. Use to sell best available by price level.
E. Use to sell best available by location.
F. Use to sell best available by section.
G. Seat Status: Select the hold status to sell tickets from.
H. Select Number of Tickets: Use the +/- signs to increase and decrease the number of tickets to sell next to the correct price code.
I. Select this option to ensure that multiple seats will be grouped together.
J. Select the preferred delivery method from the dropdown.
K. The total order fee will display in this box after you select Add Seats
L. Click Add Seats
M. Tickets will display in the shopping cart.  Clear the whole shopping cart by clicking the blue Clear Shopping Cart button. You can also remove individual tickets by clicking the red remove button under the Remove heading.



 

Selling Tickets with Sell by Map
A. Select to sell a performance or package.
B. Select the performance or package to sell.  This defaults to the performance you are in, but allows the seller to move quickly between performances and packages on the sales page. You can also switch venues from the venue dropdown in the top right corner.
C. Best Available/Sell by Map Tabs: These tabs allow the seller to toggle between selling tickets by best available or specific sections on the map.
D. Select a Section. Available seats will display (shown below).
OR
E. You can choose a specific section from the venue map by clicking on a section on the map. Available seats will display (shown below).
Note: Users can select multiple sections to display.



After selecting a section, the following page will display,
A. Use the section dropdown to switch quickly between sections from this page.
B. Click View All Sections to return to the map.
C. Click to select seats.  A blue checkmark will appear to indicate that the seat has been selected.
D. A key will display indicating selected, open, held and sold seats.
E. Displays the number of seats that have been selected.
F. Select the correct price code.
G. Select the preferred delivery method from the dropdown.
H. The total order fee will display in this box after you select Add Seats
I. Click Add Seats
J. Tickets will display in the shopping cart.  Clear the whole shopping cart by clicking the blue Clear Shopping Cart button. You can also remove individual tickets by clicking the red remove button under the Remove heading.



After adding seats, the tickets will populate below the gray line. Before moving on to check out, review the order.
A. Performance Name, Date and Time
B. Section, Row and Seat
C. Displays the seat status the ticket was sold from
D. Seat Notes will appear here
E. Price Code: To update the price code in your shopping cart, click the dropdown and select the new price code.
F. Ticket Price
G. Ticket Fees
H. Total Price
I. You can remove an individual ticket from the order by clicking the symbol in this column.
J. A summary of the order will display along the bottom. This area shows quantity, total order delivery fee, total order fee and order total.
K. Click Clear Shopping Cart to remove all selected seats from the order.



Order Payment
A. Select the Method of Payment: If credit card is selected, swipe the card using the credit card swiper provided by Etix or manually enter the credit card information.
B. If cash is selected, the payment amount will display.  Enter the amount of money given by the customer in the cash tender box.  You can also select a prefixed amount.  The amount of change due will then flash in red.  
C. Load Customer Profile: Search for an existing customer and any data previously collected will populate.  Click Clear Customer Profile to remove any information that populates.
D. Enter Customer Data
E. Check the box if the shipping address (if necessary) is the same as the customer’s billing address.
F. Send Email Confirmation: Checking this box will send a confirmation email to the customer using the email address provided.
G. Future Events Opt-in/Opt-out: Choose to receive emails about upcoming events.
H. Click Purchase, Purchase/Validate or Purchase/Print.  
Note: If you click purchase/print it will print the tickets immediately regardless of the delivery method. Purchase/Validate will process and validate the ticket.



After you click Purchase or Purchase/Print the Order ID number will appear.  If you click Purchase/Print, the print dialog box will also display to print the order.


Purchase And Validate
Purchase And Validate is a useful tool for venues that sell and validate tickets at the same location. To activate Purchase And Validate select Advanced from the Performance Dashboard.



Click Allow Immediate Validation.



A. Select Yes/No from the toggle button to activate/deactivate Purchase And Validate.
B. Select Save & Exit to save changes.
