What's New with Etix? March 1 - April 13

New Features

Event Display Settings gives you the ability to hide specific information regarding packages during the online purchase process and in the confirmation email. You can choose to hide the entire performance or individual items such as Date/Time, Fees and Seat Info.

From the Order Details Page, the Print option now states Print/Reprint Order instead of just “Reprint Order.” This will alleviate confusion for users who have yet to print the actual order.
 


Improvements

Within Venue POS after a ticket seller inputs a Membership ID and the system validates the membership, that Membership Customer Data will load. Also, on the Load Customer Profile popup, a ticket sellers is able to search for a customer using their Membership ID.


If Show Ticket Data is selected on the Export Customer Data Report, both number of tickets in the order and donation amount will display.  A new toggle Show Seat Info has been added to this report. When checked the following columns display on the report: section, subsection, row, seats and total seats. These updates apply to Export Customer Data at the Organization, Venue and Performance levels.

In order to relay a more transparent message to the patron regarding Delayed Print at Home Tickets, the following messages associated with Delayed Print at Home Tickets have been updated: the initial confirmation on the purchase page, the confirmation email and the screen when a patron attempts to print tickets before the delivery date.

The Method of Payment Receipt Control is now available for all three purchase types: Purchase, Purchase And Print and Purchase and Validate. This feature is found on the Receipt Printing page on the Venue Dashboard. If you have previously adjusted these settings, those selections will remain the same for all three purchase types. If you have not adjusted these settings previously, the following defaults will apply.

  • Purchase and Print: Credit Card - Yes, All Others - No
  • Purchase: All default to No
  • Purchase and Validate: All default to No

The Order ID has now been added to both the onlineSideTicket2Image.jsp and onlineSideTicket2BarCodeSmartTix.jsp ticket templates. The Order ID will display below the total amount on the ticket.
