The patron reserves tickets to an individual performance. A partial payment is made and at that time, the box office user clicked Pay and Issue to complete the transaction. This changed the tickets to an Issued Status on the Order.
Note: The system will distribute the money paid on the order by ticket in a progressive order until each ticket is paid in full.
The Patron later requests to void all tickets in the order. The money is returned to the Original Method of Payment and the Withhold button is Unchecked.
No Balance is due on the Order.
Alternatively, the venue could opt to NOT return the money to the patron. They could instead refund the money to Cash Method of Payment which acts as a holding place within the system. The patron may be given some other form of a refund such as a gift card or credit of some other kind instead of having the money returned.
Again, all tickets are Voided and the Order displays a balance of ZERO.
