Packages: Recommending Event Series

From the Venue Dashboard click Manage followed by Recommendations.


A. Enable Display performances from the same Package
  • When a patron carts a package, the system will recommend 3 upcoming event series based on the category and subcategory as the package selected.  
  • If a patron selects a recommended event series, they will be brought to the event series sales link which includes all performances assigned to that event series.  
  • Event series will be excluded from the recommendation feature if they house a performance already included in the package selected.
B. Click Save and Exit



On the Delivery Method Page, the patrons will see three recommendations.
Note:  These recommendations are Event Series Recommendations for performances that are not included in the Package in the patron's cart.


Once one of the recommendations is selected, it will direct to the Event Series link, from which the patron can select the performance within the series.



The patron can cart their tickets to the chosen performance from the recommendation.



Both their package tickets and tickets carted from the recommendations will display in the cart.
