Set up Venue Level Social Networks

Social Networking features within Etix are designed to make you sell even more tickets. You can automatically post performance information directly to your social network pages. 

You can link to your Facebook and Twitter accounts by following the below steps.

First, you need to setup your social network accounts at the venue level.

Click Marketing to expand

Click Social Network

Click on Setup Accounts

Click on Add Social Network Account

Select Proceed under the social network account you would like to add to your Etix account.

You will then be prompted to the log into the social network have selected.
Note: example here is Facebook


After you are logged in, popup will appear, select "Okay".
Note: This does not let the app post to Facebook.

Select your language and click Save.

Select which page(s) to post and click Save.

After the page refreshed you will see your account.

Click Return and this will bring you to the main Social Network page
If you need to edit the account, click on the edit link. If you want to make this account inactive, click on change status. If you would like to delete it click on delete.
Click on Setup Message Template to select the template you would like to add to your venue.

Click on Add

The page refreshes and displays generic system templates that you can select. After you select the message, the template name will populate and the text box will show the generic form of this message.

A. The Insert Place Holder into Message Template above buttons will allow you to create your own template. The html code will then appear in the text box of the button you have selected your post.
B. You can also Preview Message by checking the box.

Click Save to add this template to your venue. A message will appear indicating it has successfully saved. At this point you can continue adding additional templates.

Once your templates have been added, click the "X"in the upper right corner to exit this screen.

You will be returned to the message template page and will now see your new template added to the venue.

Note:You can edit or remove these templates after they have been added to your venue. If you have performance schedules for these posts they will have to be removed prior to removing this template at the venue level.
Click Return to return to the main social networks page.

To schedule when these messages should be posted click Add Schedule under Message Posting Schedule.

From this page you will select the details of how and when you want the message to be posted.
a. Select the language
b. Select if it's for a performance or package.
c. Select the social network account you want the message to post
d. Set a Relative Date to post message
e. Select the message to post
Note: all your templates will display here.

Click Save to keep this template schedule.
You will be taken back to the main social network page and see the schedule posting.

Once the venue level accounts, templates and schedules have been set you can post them at the performance level.
