Facebook has changed their policy and no longer allows the creation of events from outside their platform. This means you'll need to create your performances from within Facebook.com. You should also copy and paste your performance URL into the details of the Facebook event so that your ticket purchasers know where to buy their tickets!
COPY PERFORMANCE URL:
Select your desired Performance from the Venue Dashboard
Click Copy URL from the Performance Dashboard
CREATE A FACEBOOK EVENT:
Login to Facebook
Go to your Venue page
A. Click Event, Milestone +
B. Click Event
A. Enter Performance Name
B. Enter Performance Details
C. Enter Location
D. Paste Performance URL
E. Select Date & Time
F. Select Category
G. Check to only allow admins to post to the event wall
H. Select Targeting
I. Click Create
HOW EVENTS DISPLAY ON FACEBOOK:
The Event will appear on the wall. There your fans can engage by:
A. Like, Comment, Share
C. Click into the Event to find more information
After clicking into the Facebook Event, your fans can:
A. Click "Find Tickets" to be taken directly to the performance sales link on etix.com and purchase tickets.
B. RSVP to the event.
C. Click "Invite" to invite friends or Share the Event.
