Kill Seats

There must be a Seat Kill Label defined. If those have not been created, follow these directions.

There must be a Seat Kill Hold Label defined. If those have not been created, follow these directions. We recommend using the K status as the kill hold.

Killing Seats involves a two step process:
Hold the seats using the defined Seat Kill Hold Label
Change the status from the Seat Kill
Hold Label to the Seat Kill Label

Hold the seats that need to be killed.

Select the performance

Click Seating

Click Seat Management

Click Hold/Open Seat By Manifest

The GUI (graphic user interface) Manifest will appear.
A. Select the section by using the drop down.
B. Click GO to select the section. The GUI will refresh and the new section will have loaded.
C. Select your hold category using the drop down.
Note: If you have not created the kill hold label, you must do so first.
D. Select the seats that need to be killed (they will turn orange when selected).
E. Click Update to Hold (KILL) the seats.
F. Click Clear to select different seats.

The confirmation box will display confirming Your holds have been processed.  Click the Close button to hold additional seats or move to another screen.

A. The selected seats are now in a hold category (can now be killed).
B. The Hold Levels key will show the hold types.

Now that the seats have been placed into a Kill Hold, they are ready to be killed.

Seat Management
Kill (Remove) Seats 

A. Select the Current Status you want Killed
B. Select the Change to and select your Kill Label
Note: Be sure to know how the hold label was set as it relates to the audits; counted vs not counted.
C. Choose if you want to Kill All Seats a specific Section, Row or a Single Seat.
D. Click Submit

A. A confirmation notification will appear showing how many seats have been Killed.
B. Click View Manifest to see the map reflecting the kills
C. If more seats need to be killed, begin the process again.
