reCAPTCHA / Bot Stopper Upgrade

reCAPTCHA/Bot Stopper is the function used to verify humans when purchasing online. When activated, reCAPTCHA/Bot Stopper will be applied to every online sales schedule. 
Ex: If you have a presale the day before the general onsale, Bot Stopper will be applied. Then, when the public onsale occurs, Bot Stopper will also be applied.  

reCAPTCHA/Bot Stopper will be automatically enabled for the first 20 minutes of ALL performance and package onsales.  It will automatically continue during onsales for high demand performances.  Once enabled for high demand performances, reCAPTCHA/Bot Stopper will remain on for 60 minutes and the online traffic will be re-evaluated.  If there is still a high demand, reCAPTCHA/Bot Stopper will be extended for an additional 30 minutes.  If the number of requests has slowed, reCAPTCHA/Bot Stopper will be turned off.



To turn reCAPTCHA/Bot Stopper on/off manually:

Select Performance
Click Advanced




Click Edit Bot Stopper



A. Click Use
B. Select the CAPTCHA to use. Google reCAPTCHA is ADA compliant.
C. Enter the number of minutes reCaptcha/Bot Stopper should be on after the onsale starts
D. Click Submit


Confirmation page will be "grayed out" indicating the changes have been made. To update, click the Back button.

After checking the box, you will be redirected to the purchase page. In cases when the risk analysis engine can't confidently predict whether a user is a human or an abusive agent, it will prompt reCAPTCHA to elicit more cues, and the below will appear. This increases the number of security checkpoints to confirm the user is valid:
